Merz Joins the Macatawa Bank Mortgage Team

HOLLAND, Mich. (November 15, 2016) – Macatawa Bank is pleased to announce Alex Merz has joined the Mortgage team as Mortgage Loan Officer in their Wyoming market.  She is located at Macatawa Bank’s Clyde Park office at 5271 Clyde Park Ave, SW.  Merz will be responsible for generating new loan relationships, determining credit worthiness of loan requests, making loan decisions and cross selling other bank products and services. 

Merz, who brings three years of banking experience, most recently served as Commercial Credit Analyst at the Macatawa Bank Corporate office located in Holland.  Prior to joining Macatawa Bank, Merz was a Customer Services Representative at Chemical Bank.  She holds her Bachelor's degree from Davenport University, where she double majored in Marketing and Finance. Merz, formerly from Grand Haven, currently resides in Grand Rapids.
