Electronic Statement Disclosure and Agreement
By accepting the Electronic Statement Disclosure Agreement (‘Agreement’), you consent and agree that Macatawa Bank may provide certain disclosures and notices to you in a secure electronic form, in lieu of paper form, including electronic delivery of statements (eStatement) for your Macatawa Bank account(s). As a courtesy, Macatawa Bank will send you an email to notify you when your eStatement is available for viewing.
All future statements for the account(s) you select will be eStatement, which you will access through Macatawa Bank's Online Banking to obtain, review, print, and copy/download your periodic statements. We will discontinue sending paper communications to you, unless and until you withdraw your consent as described below.
You will be required to enter your Login Credentials to view your eStatement(s). You agree it is your sole responsibility to protect your password from unauthorized persons. You agree that it is your responsibility to ensure that the eStatement cannot be intercepted or viewed by others. You agree that the Bank has no control as to the persons who have access to your personal computer and your password. The Bank will not be liable for any unauthorized access to your personal computer or your passwords.
You understand that you have no expectation of privacy if you transfer any statement via electronically or any other method. You further agree to release Macatawa Bank from any liability if the information is intercepted or viewed by unauthorized parties at your employer or any email address you have provided.
Each account that you designate to be included within the eStatement service is also governed by the terms and conditions otherwise applicable to that kind of account as separately disclosed to you, either in the Terms and Conditions of Your Account, applications and enrollment forms, the applicable personal or business fee schedules, credit or deposit agreements, Truth in Savings disclosure, Product disclosure, our Privacy Policy or other written disclosures.
