What is an Rural Development Loan?
A USDA Home Loan* from the USDA loan program, also known as the USDA Rural Development Guaranteed Housing Loan Program, is a mortgage loan offered by the United States’ Department of Agriculture. This program assists approved lenders in providing low to moderate income households the opportunity to own housing in eligible rural areas even without a down payment.

*USDA loans have a one-time upfront fee, known as the guarantee fee, which is 1% of the loan amount. Additionally, the USDA has an annual fee that is a percentage of the loan amount and financed into the monthly payments. USDA allows borrowers to finance the 1% guarantee fee into the total loan.

9am EST – 5pm EST Monday – Friday, excluding Federal Holidays
9am EST – 12pm EST on Saturdays
Applications received outside of this timeframe, including Federal Holidays and Sundays will be considered received the next business day.
