Why a Secure Access Code (SAC) at login? How does this protect me?
SAC offers enhanced security measures by employing Out-of-Band Authentication. That means a secondary verification method is required, through a separate communication channel along with the typical ID and password – which makes unauthorized hacking into your account much more difficult.
How many SAC contact methods can I register?
You may elect to add multiples of each contact method.
How are changes to Secure Access Code methods made?
To change your own SAC, go to Settings, then select Security Preference. Click on Secure Delivery. Here you may add, edit or delete Secure Delivery contact information.
How long is the SAC valid for?
it is valid for 15 minutes.
What happens if I don’t input my SAC in time?
You will be logged out of the system. You will need to login again and you will need to request a new SAC.
I have both ‘text me’ and ‘call me’ enabled. How do I select which option my SAC is sent to?
Select the desired option when you are prompted for a Secure Access Code. Call our Customer Experience Team at (877) 820-2265 with questions.
What if the SAC reaches my voicemail?
A message will be left on your voicemail and you will have 15 minutes to input your SAC from the time it was requested.
What if I don’t have cell coverage?
If you have a landline established as a ‘call me’ number, select the ‘call me’ option. If you can access a WiFi network, you may be able to use the ‘text me’ option.
Can I receive SAC via text if on WiFi?
This depends on your phone carrier and WiFi settings.
